if only they can get it right the 1st time for a change. But it's good to see they're making a real effort to fix things

        yes thank you much better

as for the update, I'll attempt it for a day or two and see if 2013 is usuable yet in my workflow with tis update3, otherwise I'll stick to 2012 for a little while longer

and what's wrong with it? I'm using it and except that when it's set to automatically start when renderfarm starts and it doesn't log in this machine and I have to manually restart the service I don't have any problems with it.

That's quite a mouthful for nothing being wrong with it. On a modest farm, that's not a huge deal, but think of doing that to 100 machines.

We have an issue with renders (large print images) finishing rendering and vray saves the render and passes and then backburner decides to render the image again which overwrites the original renders!
Backburner gives no errors (of course)

after one BB submission max crashes, although you can actually let windows 'try to restore program' and max gets back on its feet.
everyone at the office has this issue, you people don't?

just a heads up for those with backburner troubles, Grant saved the day with a fix for rpmanager, network submission works like a charm now
