      Yeah! I really like the comparison to chief preparing food, it's so true and so sad that so many people doesn't understand that.

            I was just talking to friends about this phenomenon. They aren't designers, so they asked some questions. One really good question they had was, what about proposals? Many other professions do some form of proposals like responding to an RFP. In a proposal, there is often a description of the methods, logistics, etc. that would be used on that particular project. For some businesses, that's the equivalent of a design, right? It's not implemented, but they are revealing their hopefully awesome ideas.

            What do you think about proposals that include project-specific ideas?
