Does anyone know how to re-set a viewport's background image to nothing? Unless I've been mistaken all these years, once you load a background image into a viewport, Max will look for an image to be there for the life of the file.

To reset the background ima to nothing you have to:
activate the viewport in which the background image is visible.
On Views menu choose Viewport Background or alt+b.
In the Background Source group click Devices.
On the Select Image Input Device dialog, choose No I/O Handlers and then click OK.
On the Bitmap Manager Error dialog, click OK.
      and voilĂ ... no ima
