It should work with any version of V-Ray.

as far as I understand it has nothing to do with vray, its just a plugin that extends the functionality of the max frame buffer. Vray's frame buffer already had a lot of these "extra" functions for years.

In the case of this plugin, the "V" in VFB doesnt stand for VRay, but for "virtual"
