Any free cloth plugins better than Max's built in version?

Hi all

Well like the title says, are there any free plugins for cloth (for making clothes and dynamically animating it on my character) out there, that are better, or easier to use than the one that comes with max?

Err no, I mentioned I want to make clothes and dynamically animate it on my character

Maybe some more info then: My character walks, runs, waves arms around etc. I want to fit clothes on his body, and then the cloth from the clothes to follow his body, and also move in the wind etc. The clothes will be loose fitting, kinda like a dress almost

What i meant is that you did not mention WHAT was hard or bad in the built in tools, hence it is tough to give a proper response. I don't know of any other than simcloth and it is easy to use, hence i posted it

I don't think you will find free ones. I've heard people say good things about Marvelous Designer...

Yes your answer makes more sense now. I used simcloth just once or twice for simple things like table cloths and bed spreads, haven't tried it yet for clothing. But there's always a 1st time

nvidia has a set of cloth plugins that they release for free for all who want to participate in its development. Im not sure if its available for max though, it is in maya.
