I would love a resource, like this is to Vray, for composition. I found the below image, which I like the feel, but I am wondering why he put the person right in the middle. Was it lack of knowledge, or did he want to divide the scene in 1/2's?

My eye is drawn to the left, which is the direction the man is headed. The left also has more activity, but why is the artist wanting me on that side. here is where I found the image: http://www.christopherillustration.com/

i think its just a mistake to put a person right there
if he wanted to divide the scene in halves, the tree in the background is enough...
the person in the middle look very distracting
