  • Is anybody running Windows 8 -- with Max, Vray and Adobe products?

I have to reinstall Windows on a machine. I am debating about whether to use Windows 8 -- I don't think it's all that great, but I might want to install it over Win 7 for practical reasons not worth explaining.

Has anyone used Max, Vray and Adobe products on Windows 8? Are there any problems with doing so -- other than having to negotiate the stupid interface choices implemented by Microsoft?

We have not yet tested V-Ray on Windows 8. I would expect that it runs fine, and others have reported that this is the case, but I haven't seen with my eyes

    Best regards,

      davision,

Win 8 (the 3month trial) is installed on one of our slaves for that exact purpose of testing. so far performance is pretty much on par with win7, it even feels slightly snappier. The only small irritation i've found so far (not 100% related to max/adobe) is its rather hard to find the startup folder which we place many little apps and what not. But in terms of applications, haven't really found anything wrong so far.
