3dsmax 2013/select from scene /how to get "select by creation date" back

hi

i´m missing the default "select by creation date" in "select from scene dialog" from max 2011. tried to find a corresponding column, but not sure if there is one ...

any way to configure this?

I know what you mean.

When you first opened 'select from scene' dialogue box the objects were sorted in the order that they were created. AFAIK it stopped working like that in Max 2012 (it stopped working for me anyway). There was a way to add custom columns using maxscript in Max 2012. So I did, unfortunately Autodesk broke it in Max 2013 and as of PU06 it still hasn't been fixed.

don´t know what to say...as often in max, you start loving how things go and after some versions they kick it or change it to other behaviours...i think they shoul´d make it possible to get old things back.
