I have this file being created it seems almost everytime I render. Just wondering what it is.

We are getting tons of these files recently.

We go through phases with them too. Sometimes it's those, sometimes it's a %

Yea this is relatively new. I have had a seat of Max since 2000 and haven't noticed these before.

I get these all the time. I think they're temp files created at some point but not deleted after use. Maybe during autosave or during DBR or something like that. They're very irritating but don't seem to cause any actual problems.
