    Isnt it basically what Populate Terrain does? But populate terrain gives you nice quads.

    However, the road feature does look interesting on this one. I think it's one to keep an eye on.

      yes but populate:terrain gives you nasty jaggies at steep slopes and shallow angles to the grid. this seems more adaptive.. the meshes produced look very smooth.

        I watched the video on how to use the script and it looks interesting but there was no explanation how they created the map for the roadway. It's been my experience that type of mapping is associated with lofting. Do you know how they did it?

          In those videos there is no explanation about the road creation process because it's not à feature of splineland . You will have to model and properly uvw map your road. The plugin wont do it for you nor help you in theoricess. Splineland just generates a platform on which you'll place the road.
