  • Max 2013?

    Hello All,

I was curious who out there is currently using Max 2013. I typically never upgrade to the latest and greatest of anything until it has been out for awhile. This way I avoid all the bug issues that come with new releases. I wanted to upgrade to 2012 but after I heard that 2012's backburner was a absolute nightmare, I stayed away from it. I was wondering if the backburner issues were fixed in 2013 or if there was any other issues with 2013. Anyone?

    Thanks,

    Scott.

Well, I can't speak of BB, but overall, bu FWIW, I've found 2013 to have better stability than 2012, and 2011...It is also quite useful for native Revit files importing. There seem to be a lot of little improvements here and there to the GUI and probably more that I don't seem to notice, or at least remember. I did put off going from 2012 to 2013 for a long time, but now it's been a month or 2 on 13 and I don't plan to go back to 2012...HTH

The BB that comes with Max 2013 was messed up. But soon after that they released an update BB 2013.2 and that works perfect.
My suggestion: If you're on Max 2013, then use BB 2013.2. If you're on Max 2012 or older, then use BB 2008.1
      Kind Regards,
      Morne

Thanks for the reply. Did you uninstall the previous version of BB before installing 2013?
