Add Max button or menu item to launch a pdf file or navigate to a folder

Hi all

Can I customise a max button or add a menu item that when clicked, will either launch a pdf or navigate to the folder of the pdf so the user can click and view the pdf? Almost like a help file, but a pdf?

For those interested, somebody at CGTalk forum helped me out with this one. Here's the solution:

shelllaunch "C:/folder/File.pdf" ""

You can copy and paste that line into the 3ds Max Listener. Then select the text and drag and drop it onto a toolbar.
