  • Bitmap not updating

Has anybody had issues with bitmaps not updating? I can't even reload. When I browse to the bitmap, pick it again, nothing happens. The thumbnail, in the MAX browser is correct, but it's just not loading the new information.

I get this often with psd files or jpgs that use to be psd files.

What I also get sometimes is a previous layer state of a psd file, even if I changed the psd hours ago and add it for the 1st time into max. I have to reload it a couple of times before it works.
      Kind Regards,
      Morne

Are you cropping it in max?

no. just dropping a bitmap into the diffused slot.

Typing freeSceneBitmaps() into the listener might help. It clears old maps from memory and defrags the ones that are still used. It could also be that the gpu is holding a copy of the old bitmap and isn't updating when it should.
