  • Fluid dynamics - jupiter clouds cgi - any plugins/programs out there ?

I've seen a number of documentaries with cgi clouds shown on jupiter. Does anyone know what programs are out there to do that kind of thing ?

I've checked a program called vic2d which allows you to do fluid dynamic noise patterns that affect a png file (I think that's correct), but it seems a very deep program to use so I was wondering if there was something else out there that was a bit more GUI user friendly ?

I'm not sure what those clouds look like - but recently I've considered Ozone 5. Downloaded the Learner edition, just didnt get a chance to try it out yet but I'm itching to dive in.

About 6 years ago before VRay support was added, I tried Xtream, but that was buggy and a pain and totally not worth it. Things did improve apparently...
    Kind Regards,
