Remix Images/Animations

I realised recently that it's very common practice in the music industry to ask another musician to remix a tune that you have created - why don't we do this for 3D imagery and animations ?

It might stimulate some exceptional work when we don't have to worry about creating the model from scratch and get straight into some heavy duty creative work.

Instead of money changing hands, maybe the end result is a portfolio piece ??

Any ideas, would anyone be up for it ?

We already do. Competitions where the model is provided to 'remix' happen all the time, and if you look at evermotion models as sample packs ( http://www.loopmasters.com/ ) we're getting very similar.

It's a good idea and i'm on board, but it already happens.
