  • Backburner load time question

    Hello guys,

i ve sent a job to BB and it seems that BB actually counts LC calculation into the LOAD time instead of renderign time.
    Is this correct?

In which case i will have to set the load times limit to something much higher than default 20 minutes.

    Thanks for checking this out!

    Best Regards

I usually just add a 0 to the end of all timeouts...
    Kind Regards,

BB shouldn't be counting the LC towards load time.
I have some high res images that are rendering now through BB and the LC is taking about an hour which is more than the 20min time out limit and all of my timeouts are set to default values

        Thanks Chris,
thats strange beacause my LC close to an hour with 20 minute load limit and i was getting BB error all over the place with LOAD time limit exceeded. And the render either did not start or rendered half way through
Oh man i am wondering what else i am going to have to go through while crossing over to max 2013 :-////
The only thing i really love about max 2013 is the amazing inventor import
        as opposed to:
        long material editor load times,
        shitty viewport performance,
        problems with licencing,
inability to run Phoenix FD 1.2 (which i was able to use only one year)....and i am NOT going to upgrade it just to find out that the new version is "not" supported by 2014
        etc etc ...))
This week i have spent like 30 hours alrerady fiddleing with the systems and MAXes

We too had the BB load time issues.

Turned out to be a missing map that was mapped locally on the artists workstation and once he went to render, the server couldn't find the image and then kept timing out. It was weird.

I've never had problems like that and maybe it's because the file I send thru BB only has cameras, lights and xrefs....so it's super small.
              show me the money!!
