I am not usually the type of person to speak up about matters like what is happening to Rhythm and Hues but this particular cause is definitely worth supporting.

So spread the word and get involved! People in our industry need all the support they can get.

Some art school students I know posted screenshots of their friends-lists showing how nearly all of their friends have switched to a solid green profile pic. Pretty cool.

Too much made to quickly by too few for too many years and most of these people are VFX supes now who cant even model a teacup. The burgeoning budgets feel small to the big houses because they are so top heavy and over complicate the production process with pointless old-school obsessions with command line and ott research. Add to this the endless queue of wannabees out of animation school who are in it for the ego and the glamour, and you get an untidy mix. The whole industry is in need of a major overhaul, and while this happens it will be small boutique outfits taking the bacon like our friend JoConnell for example.
