    You could move each window, one at a time and if you are down to one monitor and can't get at say the ME then for example make sure the ME is active then hold down the ALT key and press SPACE, you will get a small window with a MOVE option on it. Select move and WITHOUT touching anything else hit one of the arrow keys. now just move the mouse without hitting either button and the window will be locked to the mouse's cursor. move to where you want it and hit the left button and your done. other than that your best bet is to modify the 3dsmax.ini file.
