Is there anyway to setup email notifications in VRAY? It would be nice to get email updates on % complete, are even just on errors and final completion of render.

There are options in the Common tab of the Render dialog for this; have you tried them?

    Best regards,

I have never seen it. I knew they existed in MAX. I'll check it out, thanks!

Ok so you piqued my interest! ..been meaning to get this working for years

I just got this working a moment ago:

        youremail@yourcompanyname.com
        youremail@yourcompanyname.com
        smtp.yourcompanyname.com

        - using notes from this thread: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=230798

The other thought I had was to send off a 'notification' render going as a dependency of the actual job, but this one, rendered last saves a frame or so to a synced dropbox folder (to home / mobile / whatever) - you could even go further and set a script off to copy key frames across to dropbox (or as I'm a n00b scripter, set rendered frames as background images in a blank scene and render them again to dopbox). I thought about creating a .bat file set to run every 1.2 or so sitting your dropbox that you use to control your work pc remotely, copy frames out etc.. didn't try that yet tho

Let us know how you get on!
        regards
