What are you guys using? we are looking for one, for another office we are opening. Mainly for 24"x36" storyboards, so it needs to be color. Also, we will print black and white cad drawings.

I had nothing to do with the purchase but I presume it was very expensive. A quick search yields a price of around $20k including installation an training. Not sure if that's outright, how leasing it affects costs, and how much the operational costs are...

The BW version is unbelievably faster. Both machines are HONKING BIG. The Colorwave has different quality levels. Production level being the fastest. As you go higher in quality, the speed goes down.

We have an OCE 750, which is great. We also have the Canon IPF8300, which is a year old, and I just replaced the print head ($500). The problem is, the space we have is very limited.Bobby Parker

my guys quoted about $50,000, so it wasn't an option. I m not sure if it was the 600, but even the cheapest one was way to expensive.
