I'm going to buy a designjet T120 next week, there is a good one also by canon but it uses more cartridges.
Take a look at HP designjet T520 as well

I had nothing to do with the purchase but I presume it was very expensive. A quick search yields a price of around $20k including installation an training. Not sure if that's outright, how leasing it affects costs, and how much the operational costs are...

We have 2 Oce machines. One BW-only (Faster than the colorwave) and the OCE colorwave. The colorwave is this fast...I send to it... then walk down a flight of stairs to the machine... and the print is waiting.
The BW version is unbelievably faster. Both machines are HONKING BIG. The Colorwave has different quality levels. Production level being the fastest. As you go higher in quality, the speed goes down.

the other nice thing about the OCE is that it spools extremely fast and doesn't choke on large print files like other machines we have that are now sitting unused.

We have an OCE 750, which is great. We also have the Canon IPF8300, which is a year old, and I just replaced the print head ($500). The problem is, the space we have is very limited.

We have the Colorwave 600 too. Great printer. A world away from the Designjets we used to use.

my guys quoted about $50,000, so it wasn't an option. I m not sure if it was the 600, but even the cheapest one was way to expensive.

Everything depends on the load of work, how many boards you are expecting to print as well as construction documents?
If you want the expensive plotter you could lease it, few firm buy those.
