Slow image load

is it me, or are images taking a long time to load lately? it's in the office, and at home, so it might not be me.

when you click an image in a post. It is taking me about 10-15 seconds to load. Not a big deal, but I don't remember there ever being a lag.

Ah that. Yes, I get it too, but it's always been this way for me. I will see if we can do anything about it.

I always click with the mouse wheel on the images, that loads it in a new tab in Firefox. Loads way faster this way.

I have this too...often helps to click "back' before it loads, then click again and it loads right away...will try kosso_olli's suggestion next.
