Select by face size?

Is there a way (or script) that lets you select faces by their size? I could have sworn I had seen that type of thing in the past, but I can't seem to find it.

The maxscript code is there to get the face area alright but what would you like to do?

I have a high-density mesh that has dozens of holes that someone crudely patched. I need to select and delete the patches so I can patch them properly with MeshMixer. The faces in the crude patches are much larger than the rest of the mesh, so they should be easily selectable.

you can do that in the Graphite tools....

Hmm, I sort of found it, but I don't see a tolerance spinner.
