Vimeo vs YouTube - which you prefer?

Hi all

Which one do you prefer to upload your stuff to, and why?

I prefer Vimeo. Much cleaner UI and better way of checking statistics. Also I really like that you can have videos behind passwords really easily and let the clients download the original file I uploaded, if they need it
Image quality should be almost the same today, as far as I know.

I don't use Youtube that much, so my opinion could be biased.

why would you want other peoples advertsing and branding all over your work
youtube just looks awful

i dont like the 'cutesy, smug, naive' feel of vimeo though
and i hate the staff picks.

I'm using youtube, but Vimeo looks better 'cause there are more uncensored clips. lol

Vimeo for me too. Looks more professional in my opinion.

vimeo's speed is so unreliable. I want to like it more, but their servers get overloaded too much and I cant remember the last time I got something to play all the way through without it having to buffer.

Vimeo is my pick. Used for sharing my work with other creative professionals. I see YouTube as more for home movies and sharing work with the masses.
