  • anyone tried plant factory?

im generally not the hugest fan of vue and eon, but this looks pretty damn slick, and has a feature unlimited free version too!

**The PLE ships with a limited subset of the total content available in the commercial product.
**Exported geometry removes 1 polygon out of 5; import into Vue only works with the Vue PLE; not with full licenses of Vue

The free version sounds cool to try out and see if you like what it can do, but these limitations make it useless IMO. Removing 1 out of 5 polygons!!! Still I'm curious to see what its capable of.

Well I have played with it for 30 minutes or so. Apart from a few features like looping, is it not exactly like speedtree?
Though speedtree might be even more expensive if I'm not mistaken.

Does it only output billboard type leaves or can you export all the polys (like Onyx)?
            Kind Regards,
