    i found this renderer in my referrers.

    Just in case someone is interrested in open source:

    The best of all, is the fact that it uses simple XML for describing a scene.

    there are an other one which is not open source but free.

          agreed redqueen looks nice. Was very impressed with the anistropic reflections. Brazil and fR ever come out with those?

            yeah its really funny..

            Shinji has started to write this renderer around 10 years ago (redqueen). He liked cg very much, but everything were so expensive for a student so he decided to write hes own. And to make it aviable for other students of course.
