  • Linking multiple vraycameras timelines

I have a number of animated vraycameras in a scene. Nothing changes except the position of the cameras. To save sending multiple jobs (both for pre-calc and frame rendering purposes) to the farm, is there a way to link up all the individual cameras into one 'master' camera and calculate just one solution for the entire movement?

The camera would obviously jump around from room to room etc, but I am hoping that one single solution would still be fine for this.

    Any suggestions?
    Kind Regards,

I still haven't figured this, but a possible workaround would be to use Batch Camera Render and chain up all the cameras in a batch list. It does seem that you can save out the solutions for each camera which is great, but it doesn't look like there is an option for 'use camera path' for the irradiance map.

Not sure if this is quite what you're after, but you can create a master camera and switch between other cameras by animating weights:

Let me know if this works for your animation Tricky. I'm curious about doing this too. It might be an easy way to capture all GI data in one file for all cameras in a scene, which would be super handy.
