Current Backburner alternatives

Backburner is starting to annoy me. I've heard of Deadline as an alternative, but it looks to be $185 per node (!). Any alternatives that are less expensive, yet reliable, and better than Backburner?

We've switch to Deadline 2years ago and it really worth it. ( ~150 computers to drive)
