  • Lens distortion - from photo to vraycam

    Hi all

So I have a photo with some heavy lens distortion. Instead of removing the distortion, I want to generate a distortion map from the photo and stick it onto a vraycam to distort the vraycam.
At the site I'm currently at, I only have access to max and photoshop (no Nuke) Can I do what I need with photoshop or a quick free tool I can download?

Alternatively, should I remove the distortion from the photo, match in vray, then reapply the distortion afterwards on photo and cg?
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

I'd always undistort first, render a larger image that spills over the edges and reapply distortion afterwards. Way handier working with pure straight lines.
