Hi Folks,
I'm starting to get more precise in my lighting and integration stuff so I'm starting to use a light meter to measure sets more precisely. While I'd love to be able to be able to point a device at a light and get a single value for it's multiplier and output, it seems that it's quite a tough thing to do so the next best thing is to take an incident reading at a surface and record that value instead. Just wondering though, the vray light meter helper object doesn't measure in lux values so is there a handy equation I can use to change lux readings to something I can match the vray light meter values with? What unit is the vray light meter based upon?
Cheers!
John
