  • Adroid Ultra and XP os

    Hello,

Here is a question that is very off topic. I have an Android Ultra model cell phone and I'm trying to sync up my phone to my workstation. I would like to download some photographs and videos from the phone to the PC. I searched all over You Tube for answers but the videos tutorials did not work. I'm assuming because my OS is an XP64 and the video tutorials are based on a later OS. Could someone please provide some information how to get these two devices to communicate?

    Thanks

    Scott.

Techsmith has something called Fuse, but you can just save the photos to Dropbox.

Second AirDroid. I almost never touch my phone during the day since I can use AirDroid to do everything I need, especially when getting lots of texts.

you for the feedback. I need to download some photos and video I can not get the phone to communicate with my workstation. All videos I have viewed the person plugs the phone into the USB port and the computer reads it as an external hard drive. no such luck with me. like I said...perhaps it's an OS thing.

            Have you tried this...

Settings > Storage > (Tap Hamburger Menu) > USB Computer Connection > Media Device (MTP) / Camera (PTP)

            Working...
