max crashes when wiring custom parameters

Hi all

I'm wiring some custom attributes of an object, but max crashes most of the time as soon as I "connect".
The times it actually works, the object itself then makes max unstable. When I copy the object with the custom attributes, its fine mostly, but it crashes if I instance it?!?

Any thoughts?

I've tried with Max 2012 and also 2014, same result
