Populate may be nice if you have ramps and flat ground but none of the surfaces in my models are flat or ramped since everything I do uses engineered earthwork surfaces as a site, meaning the models are realistic and surfaces are constantly changing. So, what does one use to populate such a model with people?
(BTW, I was never able to get populate to rescale properly to my scenes. And yes I used listener. Clumsy way to rescale.)

On a recent project I had the same problem. I was only able to get round the issue with idlers, but the walkers were useless. I had to use other animated people altogether.

I would also be interested to know any ways to do this.

Populate could be great, but just bizarre choices at the moment. Like why can you only have 1 ramp in a flow?

for what it is as a free additive to max its cool but i agree its lacking in specialised cases sometimes you just have to be creative as AlexP said with the idlers
