Have been on CC for about 2 years now with zero complaints, and no memorable crashes from PS. It's nice to get every update/fix automatically (basically) and you have the whole lot of apps to use. For me that was huge since I only had PS. Now I can use PS, Lightroom, AE, etc. and a low monthly price...I guess it depends on your situation. Getting Lightroom, and upgrading from Photoshop CS3 were my main reasons for going with CC.

Not a fan of CC here. I had it for a year. Right when they got hacked and all their credit cards on file were compromised. It did introduce me to Lightroom which I loved. But I've since just bought an individual license off Amazon & rolled back to Photoshop CS6. Now I don't have to pay monthly fees for life. Also, how much more improved can Photoshop get? I got tired of the dumb updates to their 3d features that I never use. And updates to their updater. I'm fine with CS6 until something really amazing changes or comes around.

Yeah Id say if you were only using one or 2 apps it doesnt really work out that well. But if you use the entire suite, it's a great setup imo.

It's a bad setup unless you use ALL the apps. upgrading production premium every year costs $375. And they don't even update all the programs every year. Even the Master collection is $575/upgrade. And lets not forget about volume licensing. The team pricing costs 70/month. That's $840/year.
So you pay $22 per month for the features that they don't have right yet (cloud crap) and new features that don't work right.

There are very few people who this is any benefit for. I assume the majority are those that fear if they don't purchase it now, their employer will get accustomed to not purchasing new versions of their software, so they will not be able to get it in 3 years when the upgrade actually becomes something that might be worth while. I'd be perfectly happy with CS4. Although, I'm pushing to get everyone up to CS6 because of Illustrator. Did you guys know that you can't open a file with effects in other versions without it rasterizing all those shapes and throwing out the vector work? What a load of crap! You'd think it would give you a choice between editability and look. But if I wanted everything rasterized I'd just open it in photoshop. I'm opening it in Illustrator because I found out something went from 22 to 24 inches.

I'm going to check out Corel when I get a chance. I just noticed they released X7 which looks like it has a lot of the features they were missing. And their software basically has Illustrator and ID combined. Why does adobe have them separate? Of course, illustrator has got to be their Worst program. It crashes constantly if you use more than a couple dozen objects. Shoot, it's not even great at technical drawing. I do most of my linework in Rhino, then bring it in.
