I think the guy that announced it in the video actually hinted about the fact that renderman is behind other render engines features. I'm pretty sure its like Mental ray, 1-2 years behind vray.Comment

the mental ray core isnt that far behind... in some areas its in front i would say...
the only thing thats behind is the integration into the dcc tools...Comment
