  • Fabric Texture Scanning

    Hello!

I have a texture I need to tile for some high res renderings, the image I was provided with from the manufacture does not have enough repeat to make it tile. Does anyone know of or used a scanning company that could provide me with a tillable texture, if I send them a yard of the actual fabric?

Or if anyone has or knows were I can purchase this particular pattern from I would really appreciate it!.

    Thanks,

You can try asking guys at http://www.surfacemimic.com , their samples are extremely good and they can maybe do a custom job for you.

You could make the diffuse one very quick, it just circles...if it's close enough they won't notice it. And another texture for the bump map, plane without circles of course.

I used a company called trentphoto we send them a fabric sample and they gave me a perfectly tillable image at a reasonable price.

          Thank for the suggestions.

Thanks for letting us know your solution. Did you have to send them the physical sample?
