  • Antivirus software recommendations

In an effort to boost the stability of my new system, I have uninstalled my antivirus/malware app, Search&Destroy +AV.

Can anyone recommend a replacement solution that they 'know' doesn't cause issue.
    Kind Regards,
    Richard Birket

We've been using NOD32 for the past few years in the office without any issues.

    Best regards,

        Kaspersky Internet Security MultiDevice

Comes with it's own firewall, antivirus, antispam, and probably some antibiotic also :- )
The multidevice is cool as it comes with a solution for your pc, your phone and your tablet
        Kind Regards,

I'm using kaspersky at home and in office. Its pretty reliable but I have to admit some changes they made since their 2014 version are bit questionable in terms of UI but oh well.
          Cheers,
          Oliver

Microsoft Security Essentials - free, not full of bloatware, simple. Effective? Who really knows but I've never had a problem with it.
Windows Firewall, plus NAT on the router.
Gives me peace of mind but isn't going to stop GCHQ having a sneaky peek.

Me too! I don't like a lot of the software; very have and a system drain. Security Essentials is very lite

I didn't even realise Microsoft offered this.
