Just to give you guys an idea of how much stuff cost locally:
About a year ago with the last upgrade I wanted to go for the Z820
Quote came in at the equivalent of $11500 USD (Locally R120K - ZAR)
If I remember correctly it was 64GB Ram
The gpu was 5000 series NVIDIA, can't remember which one, maybe K5000, or Q5000 not sure now
Dual XEON, Nice!
Went with i7 3930 instead :- (

While nice, I just can't justify spending over ten grand on a workstation that is only twice as powerful as top of the line workstations few years ago, but costs x10
