Has anybody notice Chrome making your computer crawl? At church, I have a new HP, but doing anything with Chrome makes the PC drag. I removed Chrome and now it is running like new. Now, my new rendering PC is lagging, so I removed Chrome and the lag is gone.

yeah - only happens with photoshop for me though (and only after the newest update). If I have chrome open when using ps after about an hour I cant pan around images or draw with any kind of feedback and I need to close/reopen. it sucks. firefox apparently causes issues with photoshop CC too. madness.

At least it's not just me

I understand that each chrome.exe instance is an extension, but to have 20 Chrome.exe programs running, all taking resrouces, is ridiculous. Plus, you have to close each and everyone, one at a time. I just removed Chrome.

I've been using Firefox for many years until it started to become really slow and unreliable, then I changed to Chrome for about a year until that one started to be really slow, and now I'm using the Internet Explorer that came with Windows 8.1. It can do some weird stuff too, but I like that I can share open pages with my Surface Pro.

        They probably all have issues.
