I saw something about this stuff on TV a year or so ago and it seemed like they weren't getting a big response from people but it's good to see it's still growing.
When I was a kid and used to visit Epcot at Disney World in Florida there was this area of sidewalk that had large interwoven spiral patterns of optics imbedded in the ground. It wasn't as dense though and just the tips were exposed. They would run this color changing light patterns through it and it was really cool because you couldn't even see it until you walked over it at night. Kinda suprising the first time I looked down
