Beautiful pictures from a very expensive apartment
I tried coming to this kind of agreement once with a realter. He didn't take the bait though. Everybody having anything to do with buildings has some kind of percentage (architects, contractors, realters,...) but not the visualiser. If everybody started asking percentages they couldn't refuse anymore...we need a change!

This would be an amazing thing to happen but I highly doubt it will. The reality is that you can't build a building and sell it to the public without an architect, engineers, builders etc. but you can build and sell one without a visualiser, perhaps with some difficulty. We're seen as a design tool and then a marketing tool, that complement the process rather than a critical standalone part of the process. Until we're seen as completely necessary it won't happen. We can dream, however!

I don't need a realter to sell my building, yet they get their percentages
Most of them are my renders, haha. finished them about 18 months ago and they've been locked up tight. There are still another 30 or so images that have never been made public.
cheers for the compliment
we're not paid on percentages but I can assure you they didn't get them for $500 an image.
e: I just checked. we did 29 images of apartments, 10 of the amenities, 8 for a photoshoot with a ballerina dancing on the window sills (these images are astonishing, we have them printed up in the gallery in NY), and 12 images for a fashion photo shoot that was set in an apartment. I missed the first round of 10 or so but was involved in all the later ones and the fashion shoots.
I'm about to start another set of 8, although these are for a private client who bought one and is currently having it designed ready to move in early 2017.
