  • 3DS MAX 2015 Select hell

    I am sure you have experienced elements not being selected, when you select them, but is there a fix? It's costing me a ton of time to selecting, delete/move/copy..., zoom and select again, and again...0

            I have had a few issues with 2015 and at one stage I deleted my 3dsmax.ini file and it seemed to fix quite a few problems.

                It's what you pay subscription for - so they can fix things they broke last year and break things to fix next year.

                  I went back to 2014 I could not stand the selection bug. Autodesk said it due to an issue with Wacom and Spacemouse drivers and they are "looking into it"

                    I don't have either the Wacom or Spacemouse, so they are looking at the wrong thing.

                        Try this...I found it on the Area forums it seems to help with the selection bug.

                        NitrousGraphicsManager.HardwareHitTestEnabled = false

                              I guess it worked for me too, not that I think about it. At first I thought it had to be done each time, but maybe not.
