    hello all. been a while. anyone know, is there a way to apply a planar map to each face in a mesh, aligned to the centre and normal of the face?

    ive got a modelled facade of stone panels, id like to map each panel, but while face map works to an extent, the smaller/thinner panels have distorted textures.


    id like the mapping size to be constant, so my stone texture looks the same on all the tiles. could be real world mapping, or just configurable mapping size.

    sounds like something that should have a solution lurking around..


    any suggestions?

    ok so for anyone who is interested, the rather fab "polygonmap" plugin will do this (plus loads more) and it was an immediate purchase for me after trying the demo.
