  • Anyone can create movie-quality CGI

Are we entering the age where anyone can create movie-quality CGI? Roundfire's Allen Bolden believes so.

Have you guys seen this post?

Well, one this is absolutely clear, either it will or it won't happen.

But in a way it's been that for a long time with a little talent. What's missing is time.

The article is written by an employee (probably owner) of the product the article is pushing. Waste of time.

Makes no sense when a lot of the work in big budget films looks so bad currently. The piece of the puzzle that is missing is the artistic/creative and not the technical aspect. Just because anyone can read up on the internet and learn how to render does not mean that what they render will look good. We all have cameras on our phones now but that does not make everyone a photographer. They "have all the necessary tools".

At first glance I thought the same about the product pushing, but if you actually try to look for the product and if that was indeed the intent, then it was executed very poorly since there is very little information available about it.

Pushing Blender would have made the article much more interesting.
