ok, so im not usually one to rant but I am so pissed off right now!
Trying to install Max2015 (upgrade from 2012) for the third time now.
The fist time there was a problem with my downloadlink on the autodesk website, it just gave me an errorpage instead of the installationfiles. Reported this to the support and after a couple of days got a response that its taken care of.
Trying again, and yes! I can now download my files. But - they have forgotten to make my serial number/product key visible on the downloadsite, so even though I can install it now, I have to run it in trial-mode since I cant activate my software. Reported this to support and again, after some days get an email that its fixed.
Ok, so now Ive got my serial number and product key, but when trying to activate i get a new error message thrown at me saying that its impossible to activate automatically for some reason and I have to do it manually online, by filling out a loooong form, which itself is buggy and weird. When asking the support about this they sent me an activation code which I have noooo use for since im sent to the error page/online form before i get the chance to use it.
So - three failed attempts now. Ive filled out the form. Expecting to hear back from them withing a couple of days, but not really expecting them to fix anything anymore.
Is this only happeing to me? Or is this normal procedure when installing autodesk products? I honestly dont know. Its been a couple of years since my last upgrade.
