The 10 minute animation that the link below will take you to was made using Daz3d (free) and Blender(free). The 3 characters appear to be Daz3d purchased ($20 ea)characters modified and much of the animation for those characters appears to be purchased also ($20). So I am wondering if the characters and their rigging transfers to max or is everything in the animation rendered in Daz3d. The whole animation was done by one person in about 10 or 11 months and is now being made into a movie.

Several years ago I purchased DAZ, thinking my 3d people problems were over. I thought I could pose them in DAZ and import them into MAX, but that wasn't the case. I am not sure what the missing link was, but I do remember that it never worked out.

Too bad about not being able to bring the animated figures into max. Its gotta hurt that you paid money for Daz3d which is now free.
What amazes me about this 10 minute animation is that apparently the whole thing was done with a financial outlay of only a few hundred dollars.
incredible what can be accomplished on free software.

Or, that bikini girl laying on her belly, on almost every 3d site with ads. Very tacky!

I think the Rosa movie shows what can be done with their base models, modifying them to meet your needs and tastes.

of course.. the movie is very impressive for 0 budget and free software. having said that the characters dont do anything for me at all.. i see they want to make a feature film.. i can see the "twilight" producers jumping up and down with excitement.

Talk about style over substance! How could anyone stand to watch a feature length movie of this??? I would be ripping my eyeballs out.

I love reading the media testimonials on that page too. Cringe-worthy stuff...
