  • archvis timelapse shot in 8k on nikons - nice reference

A friend of mine shot this as a sequence of stills and user interpolation to create the final video - some nice stuff and great lighting reference!

I don't even know what that is - is it real or CG?

Good sign of some people here's work - It's all timelapse photography from a nikon d800.

I'm showing my lack of knowledge here: to me, timelapse involves something moving, like the sun/shadows/objects/people/cars/stars. There doesn't seem to be much of that here. Its amazing, but I don't know why....

The camera is moving, but I think the biggest selling point is the fact that its 8k+ size as original with super crisp details

We all watched it in the office and the conversation went something like:

Me: "Is this real or CGI?"
                  Colleague A: "Its CG, definitely"
Colleague B: "You sure? Looks like video"
Me: "I'm not sure, I have no idea what I am looking at"
A: "Yes, it is CG. Look at that bush: I've never seen a better looking bush!"
                  Me and C: "Hahahahahahahaha"
C: "CG for sure...walls are never that clean..."
                  etc
                  etc
                  etc
                  etc
                  Me: "I'll ask the forum!"
                  Kind Regards,
