hi,
i have a little discussion with another vray user about glossy reflections.
this user thinks that interpolated glossy reflections are not usefull for interior shoots with GI.
i remeber that i saw a few impressiv images made with interpolated glossy reflections but i have not enough time to search.
the discusson is about rendertime.
the image we speak took more then 2 days (Gi calculation only 25 minutes) and i have suggested to use interpolated glossys, i was told they are not good enough. now this image makes use of heavy dof and i really doubt that you would see a difference.
what do you think about the use of glossy reflections?
in which case would you use none interpolated glossy reflections?
and if you have some pictures with many glossy surfaces , let me have a look.
tia
