Trapcode form animation match with 3d scene in max

Is there any way to have an OBJ max the animation in a 3dsmax scene other than setting it up all again in aftereffects...quite a tricky one to do though. Maybe it would be better for me to use max particles instead of form.

Particle flow is taking ages to get anything good. I have a fairly nice displacement of particles behind the car but it really takes an age to calc larger particle numbers..
