  • move modifier up stack for multiple objects..?

    here is situation:

    ive got a load of objects with an instanced scalpel modifier on them. i have a script that will select all objects by the selected modifier.

    until now when i selected an object/the modifier, and ran the script, it selected all the objects and gave me the scalpel to adjust/delete in the modifier panel.

    now however, ive placed a uvw map *above* the scalpel on a handful of objects.


    the script still works and selects all the objects with the scalpel on, but i cannot edit or delete it, as it doesnt appear in the modifier panel.. presumably because some objects have another modifier above it in the stack.


    is there any way to move it to the top of the stack for all objects? i can of course edit it by selecting one instance, but to delete it from the scene i need to select all of the objects.

    ok (im constantly answering my own questions these days)

    soulburn "modifier utilities" lets me delete a modifier from the scene by name, so i dont need to move it in the stack...
