  • Mic advice needed

    Hi all

I need some sound advice on a good mic for pc (pun intended hehe)
My audio knowledge is limited so I don't know jack about mics (again... intended haha)

I need something that I can use on the pc for:
    Voiceover work
    Tutorial recordings
    Skype

Something that pics up close voice well, but cuts out all the background noice and junk of things happening further away. I'm not a sound engineer so I just want something that works and don't need cleaning up after the fact in something like Audacity or the likes, if you even get such a mic?

The catch, I don't need something pro that cost the same as a car. Something pro-sumer should do I think or upper consumer
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

Shure SM 58. Industry standard for close-micing and ambient noise rejection. Around 100$.

          Audio-Technica ATR2100 - it's about 50-60$. That's what I use at home and it's really great mic.
